weapon upgrade/hidden ability?

so i've played quite a few mmo and in all the game i played i could upgrade my weapon
eg: +5greatsword and etc. does gw2 allow u 2 do the same? also crafting weapon to get hidden abilities such as an extra damage or stats for weapon& armor and if it does, is it random? like if u get lucky, u could get better stats than other for the weapon.

Crafting will not create a more powerful weapon... the basic max weapon stats are the same, regardless of how you got the weapon (so no, there's no random factor there). But there will definitely be runes to upgrade your weapon or armor with, to can give you extra damage, a certain type of damage (eg fire damage, etc), or enhance a completely different aspect of your character (boost armor, more health, etc). And there will also be traits to enhance your profession's weapon skills in a similar fashion.

With regard to enchanting... there are combat skills that will boost certain aspects (for example, boost the amount of damage that you do), but they are not weapon targeted or even person targeted... they are region targeted. So as long as you are in the area of effect, you will receive the bonus. There are no permanent or temporary enchantment spells for your armor or weapons.

As for it being 'cool'... ArenaNet specifically set up the whole system to not create huge differences in what armor/weapons you have and where you obtain it. They do not want to traditional model of grinding for gear in GW2. Obtaining max gear should be relatively easy (as it reaching max level), and the major differences will be in what your gear looks like (the skin). Then you can focus on the aspects of the game that you think are fun to play (regardless of whether that's pve or pvp) and enjoy those, instead of grinding for those gear aspects that you need in order to play the part of the game that's fun.

when upgrading ure weapon with runes, is there a possibility that it will fail? and whats the consequences?
usually in other mmo +6 up will have the chances of weapon/armor breaking and lost the item, will gw2 have same concept?

No. Each weapon has 1 rune slot. You can put any rune you want in it. This upgrade will always succeed. And you can always replace the rune with another one. However, you cannot salvage the rune from a weapon, so if you replace the rune with another one, the previous rune will be permanently lost.
