Warrior vs. Guardian Gameplay

Hello Everybody,
I am new to the community and have recently been keeping a close eye on Guild Wars 2 as it seems like it will be amazing and I never played Guild Wars 1.

I would like to ask for tour help in deciding which play style would suit me better between the Guardian and Warrior classes. I narrowed it down to the Warrior and Guardian because I like the big heavy plate wearing classes (My race will probably be a max sized Norn or Char), that focus and melee game play and these seem to be the two classes that fit that role.I was wondering how these professions differed in play style. I'm not sure about the specifics of what these classes would do but I would prefer it if I am able to switch between big two-handed kinetic attacks and fast dual-wielding action.

Guardians can't really dual wield...they can use a sword or mace for the main hand but only get shield, focus and torch for the offhand. If that's important to you, I'd rule them out right off the bat.

If you want a big brawler type then go warrior. Even though guardians have heavy armor they are more of a support class and it looks like most of there heavy damage is going to come from spells.
