It's hard to say since we don't know how important defensive play will be. I'd imagine it would be somewhat important, and your builds are mostly lacking it it (except for mistform, which is a three second spike prevention usable once every 75 secs...). I'd put points into either earth or water magic since low health and armor will make you easily spiked when mistform is recharging. And between the two builds I'd favor the one that has signet of water, since then you'd at least have some condition removal to help keep melee from snaring and overpowering you. Again, this is all untested theory however.
