In "real life" I have written on human trafficking and modern slavery; a blight which affects people around the world, with victims often in surprising places. I have a background in political science, and a hobby of reading about world history. But I work as a web designer, and have art as a hobby.
I've been around online games since the late 1980s, with a decade away while traveling abroad. I've been a World of Warcraft player since 2006, and a City of Heroes player since 2007. In those I tend to play support and control roles like tanking, healing, and condition control (city of heroes).
Looking forward to moving into Guild Wars 2, as I have been a Guild Wars 1 player since 2005. I plan to tackle various new forms of playing support and control builds in a game that does not have tanking or healing; but which seems to be all that much more exciting as a result.
