Left school young and worked in a variety of jobs over the years. Went back to high school as a mature age student and completed my HSC, then went to university.

Work experience includes clerk/typist, checkout operator, waitress, nanny/housekeeper, a brief stint as a lab assistant, child care worker, special education teacher's aide, and most recently university lecturer and marker extraordinaire of undergraduate papers.
