Hey I convinced my mom to give me the money to build a desktop. Now I need help. Can any of you help me with a build. I have 550$ to spend and I want my operation system to be windows 8. Thanks in advance. I also plan to use my current monitor,mouse,and keyboard.

I'll post prbly two builds for you a little later. I kind of want to double check a few things in the AMD world.
I already know an i3 will work pretty well.
Desktop doesnt really matter since I usually only need it to write papers and what not. I plan on having my desktop as gaming and then later on in the year buy a laptop for school stuff.

I forgot the OS, womp womp. Your gfx would have to take the hit for that. Unless you can get a student discount on Win 8.
So thats why an AMD build will be worth looking over when I wake up.
