Ok, Fractals, new dungeon.
The hole team hast to be in the same server.
If the game crashes or freezes, you cant enter again.
Very long queues to the Arch's Lion of your server.
The rest of de dungeons are empty, nobody cares. Impossible to make another dungeon except Fractals.
Why? Really? Why?
They're working on some of the bugs such as re-entering. As for the other content, it's new content, what did you expect. Give it a couple of weeks for people to burn out on it and people will start doing other stuff again.
You dont have to be on the same server if you're in overflow. You don't need to be in the same lvl as everyone else to do it, just to progress further in level.
The issue is that its new so people are doing it and people who normally dont run it are doing it so they don't get left behind in gear. Check your WvW chat, talk to any competative WvW guild...they all run that dungeon while they never ran any dungeons before. Because they want the gear to stay at the highest level and not get left behind. My uber competative WvW guild (22 players, but 2 commanders) runs it during the day and WvW's at night. So I also do it to get the fractals and the vials of mist essence so I can get my backpack and rings. And more fractals for other pieces as they are released.
I don't enjoy the content one bit (I did the first few times) because it gets boring. Sure later on you have a few gimmick mechanics but its still repeating dungeons. OMG, its the dredge, lets walk the golem between two stations for 5 minutes. Its a giant jellyfish...lets auto attack for 5 minutes and make it run into electric cages. After you do it 5 times you're nearing WoW, you can be almost afk kinda gameplay.
Maybe it's just my server, but basically none of this sounds like what's going on to me.
1. The whole team does not have to be on the same server.
2. I don't know about queues because I just run with my guild and don't really have to wait.
3. I'm running other content a lot lately... CM, AC, TA... plenty of people doing it.
4. (boki) I've heard no buzz about the gear. Two accessories isn't enough to make a difference. Besides, most people aren't so gear-crazy.
I still love these dungeons, but I'm still running the "old" stuff because it's fun too.

I feel the same way. My server isn't so bad as well (Sorrow's Furnace). I ran AC two days ago no prob. For Fractals, I DO have the problem in which everyone has to be in the same overflow to enter which hopefully will have a resolution. A group finder of some sort would be nice just for Fractals since everyone is trying to find a group for different levels. However, the only problem I had with Fractals was the people if anything. I was stuck on level 1 from when it started to yesterday. My first attempt was the Swamp. We simply couldn't do it and people left. My next attempt was with a new group and we ended up with the Swamp...couldn't do it. Third attempt and finally got a new fractal! It was the dredge cave. It took us awhile but finally figured out the Legendary Ice Golem at the end. The second Fractal of that run was the Swamp again...didn't make it obviously. Fourth attempt was the giant, completed the fractal and then two party members had to leave (sigh). Fifth attempt, we completed the Asura jumping one with the four golems at the end. And then we had the dredge cave...one party member was a mesmer and was continuously spawning illusions that would aggro the golem in every direction possible. Another party member was a total hothead calling the rest of us a bunch retards and whatnot when we were all doing the right thing aside from the Mesmer. (btw, can someone tell me if a Mesmer can simply stop spawning their illusions after the illusions are killed? -.-) Ahem, anyways I finally had a fantastic party yesterday and was able to finally complete level 1 and get my monthly. The swamp used to be my favorite (probably because I'm a Mesmer and I like puzzly things) but now because of the people who skip it or leave group as soon as they see it it's become my least favorite. Probably my favorite with my guild and least favorite with anyone else. I enjoy Fractals overall but I wish there were more of them.
Also I'm glad I haven't had the DC issues or any other issues with the Fractals. It would probably make me enjoy them a lot less. Also the new gear is awesome, there are not only better stats but new forms of itemization. I've been able to increase my DPS and Defense and even gain some more useful traits thanks to the Toughness/Power/CritDmg% gear. It's annoying that I have to wait for the rest of it though. I guess you can call that progression. Anyways, sorry, this thread isn't about the gear. lol
Hope they fix the DC issues soon. Reading in the Game Bugs it seems like crashes will happen if you use Instant Repair Canisters, Costume Tonics, and some other items.
Yeah, I personally never gave up but the groups I was with would give up after trying a few times. It was always such a pain.Quote:
