New player looking for small casual guild (Whiteside Ridge)

Hey all!

I am a 20 yo female player from England. My character is a level 32 elementalist in Whiteside Ridge. It's getting quite boring levelling by myself so I'm looking for a small-sized casual guild to level and hang out with. I'm not really into PvP/WvW as I want to enjoy the game for now, although that is something I want to get into in higher levels.

I'm fairly new to GW2 but I have played other MMO's and tried GW1 briefly. I don't mind switching servers and I usually play in the evening, weekends (UK GMT time).

Guild Philosophy

The Order of the Silver Dragons (OSD) are a long-standing multi-wing gaming community that was founded in 2006, and exists well beyond any one game, being involved in many gaming environments.

What makes the OSD unique is their ongoing commitment to mature interactions, their proud display of civility and concern, their desire for adventure and their healthy placement of value on individual effort and communications. They are known across many gaming servers for taking the high road when situations arise, and they pride themselves in the knowledge that they will always strive to help others. Their continued success stems directly from the OSD officers of this community whom take it upon themselves to uphold these virtues, reminiscent of the fabled Knights of the Round Table, which in turn are mimicked by the community of players within the guild. The source of the success of the officers derives from the wisdom of their community leaders, who have been instrumental in the formation of such a strong community.

The OSD consistently leverage their community talents and imaginations to enhance the gaming experience. Definitely not a hard-core guild, their maturity level allows absolute respect for the various playing styles of the community, however they absolutely still engage in competitive play! Recruitment is an on-going active event between their current members, the leadership and the person who wants to join the OSD. What We Offer

Hi Fudge (cool name ^^),

I've recently (as in 2 days ago :p) set up a guild on the Gandara server and we are doing quite well (have 9 members as of time of writing). The guild is called The Free People Of Tyria [FPoT] and we mostly play in the GMT time zone; all of us were online last night from about 9-12 GMT! We accept all levels and classes and particularly welcome players new to the game! We will be doing mostly PvE for the moment but I am a really big WvW fan so I eventually plan to get a WvW night or 2 going :)

You might already have settled down, if not you should take a look at our guild.
We're called "The New Reality" and are playing on Aurora Glade.
Our policies are very laid back and we do not require people to play any amount of hours a week :)
We strive for a medium sized guild with a very good sense of internal community, and so far we're 34 members although a lot has been inactive lately. But it's not rare to see at least 10 members online simultaneously.
We are European and are occasionally using VOIP to communicate, which has led to some pretty entertaining evenings. Our newest recruit is actually a young girl from UK as well, so you will not be the only female (if that even matters) :)

We are a very active social guild of players from all over the world who have been playing together for years. We aren't the type of people to give up easily and call it "quits" by throwing in the towel. We won't tolerate PvP tea parties or dungeon mega-NAPs; we play on our own terms, and we have fun doing it.This is not a guild where you'll log in and nothing's going on. We play Guild Wars together, We call psychic hotlines and escort services. Even if you're not doing anything in particular, you can always come on TeamSpeak. This is where we reside and hang out most of the day. In EXG we feel that words can only express so much and that no one has to type full sentences while dodging an angry Centaur. So we feel that Voice Chat goes a long way to get us to know one another better and to perform better ingame.

As we have mentioned before, we have alot of content circling around inguild. We have the typical Guild Events customized by our members and our members needs. A large forum with dozends of sections and topics where you can discuss, talk and spam the area. The forum has alot of features to play around with, to keep forum posting interesting. Not to mention our very own Guild Bar called TeamSpeak where our members reside. Also our website who gets a weekly update to stay ahead of any other guild providing the best content a player and member needs to know.
