desktop/laptop installs
I am almost ready to buy guild war 2. However, I want to install it, from digital purchase, on my desktop and my laptop. Is this allowed? I will play from only one of them at any given time but am often away from home and need to use the laptop. Help would be appreciated.

Yeah I don't believe there are any rules against downloading and playing it on multiple computers as long as you're the only one using it, not other people. It's only against the EULA is you "share" an account or let people other than your family members play on it.

The only thing that may happen is if your IP changes you may have to authorize the game thru an email which will be sent by Gw2. It seem's that is there way of securing their game from unauthorized use. It is simple, when you log in they will ask you to authorize the game. You look in your e-mail and consent to authorize it. No big deal.

One thing to note here is that the game doesn't "install" like most other games do. Once you download it to your first pc you can litterly copy and paste the folder it is in to a large enough external device and then copy and paste it to your other pc. Run the client it will validate (and download updates if necessary) and play.
