Isn't that a character moment though? How many people choose the greater good over someone they love? I think that makes the storytelling more realistic.
After doing the Beta, I got really interested in the game and have joined a good wiki site to read up more on the game and googled "Guild Wars 2 forums" and found this site.
Its about right in terms of leveling, imo. I gained 15 levels in one weekend of very heavy playing. It seemed to me that the leveling was just about right... not too slow and not too fast.
