So, if I had a programmable keyboard or mouse which completed two (or more) commands per keypress, that'd be considered a macro by ANet?

Er...
I don't whether to answer this seriously or rip the p*** out of it.
Welcome! :)
I believe the release of GW - at least the official release rather than beta - was last October. That's about when I started playing myself.
Yes, the game is pretty breathtaking,...
Since last October. But I'm in no way uber or anything - only have one character to 80, about 10g in the bank and couple of items of rare gear. I make progress slooowly but that's just the way I play...
Your name... somewhat familiar to me.
Welcome! :D
I'm still a fan of the game but haven't posted here much due to the low amount of traffic. However, I still like the forum and long may it continue :)
As for achievements? I have one character...
Your CPU isn't helping much either. Have a look at this benchmarking site:

If you're going to go PvE, you'll get away with low settings. I'd suspect big WvW stuff is going to make your game look like a slide show though and busy places like the BL in LA will also be harsh...
Zorac's idea is a good one and it's a method I also follow. If I counted the amount of uid's and passwords I need for my gaming life, then add that to those of my working life, I have eighty three...
I've been having issues too. It does seem that, with the Feb 13th patch, the was a change to some code - I'd been getting BSOD's. However (fingers crossed), that problem has now gone away. I did...
Not been doing too much - had a few BSOD issues to sort out but I think ( :bitenails: ) and fingers-crossed, I'm OK now.
Oh, I have the mini fridge covered ;)
...what components would you use?
I know GW2 (and MMO's in general) are CPU intensive so it'd have to be a beast in that department... not sure whether O/Cing is a good idea for GW although my...
Yeah, I was going to d/l the latest drivers but that kind of thing worries me; up until now, the versions I had were rock solid so why mess wiv 'em?
I agree with you re: Anet fixing it. I was able...
Ah, perhaps that's what's happened. Thanks!
It's happened a few times now and it seems there may have been an issue with the last patch; I'm not the only one experiencing this. After some...
Hmm. It seems the devs over at the official forums need the above file to diagnose my BSOD. Trouble is, this file is not present anywhere on my system.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hah! A random event. On something where randomness can only be simulated given complex algorithms. Have to love computers! :D
Joking aside, I know for sure my drivers are old so I'm going to...
Hmm...
Two BSOD's in two days. Never had these before from GW2. Anyone know of anything that got changed? Nothing new from my end.
That sounds like you have PC/connection issues. I'm playing from the UK - not sure where you're based - and the game flies for me even with most stuff set on high. Have you tried lowering the...
I'm with you on this although I suspect there'll be many who aren't. I haven't bothered with the daily since they changed it; it's just not my cup of tea anymore. As for the monthly, I suspect I just...
Just curious, but why level twenty as maximum?
On a personal note, I don't PvP. At all. So, in my perfect GW2 world, there'd be no PvP. GW2 is different things to different people ;)
As for the...
Well, my lynx is pretty good at damage dealing. Shame he's a paper tank. Would would be nice is if he retained his DPS but also got the tankiness awesomeness of the brown bear. But I guess that'd...
"No!".
Is it just me, or does the character (a skrit I think) that says "No!" sounds like Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) from Ghostbusters?
Then there's four other character slots to try out, crafting, map completion, exploring every nook and cranny... getting a character to level eighty is just the start.
Although I'm no expert by any means on all things GW2, I do agree with this. Two things spring to mind: being able to control all their attacks; being able to name them all and for them to retain...
