I bet you can piece together a decent desktop rig for under $500.00. You'll have to build it yourself, and the 500.00 would assume you have an extra monitor laying around.

I am not a fan of huge fights anyway. They're just an aoe fest. I enjoy running around in a group, killing yaks/ taking supply depots.

I found wiki pretty confusing trying to add information. I know a little HTML, but apparently wiki doesn't recognize some tags.

Try not to use waypoints too much. You can teleport to mists for free, then to lions arch from there. Using waypoints adds up fast!

Daoc was open world, but it was seperate from the PvE zones, unless you were on a dedicated PVP server.

Not sure if you ever played Daoc, but all of the servers except 1 were strickly PvE. You had to zone into the PVP area much like the WvWvW area. Daoc was one of the most succesful and innovative pvp...

I still haven't been able to get into WvWvW. Been playing since saturday. Just wondering how long people are waiting on a normal basis to get into WvWvW.

Been logged in quite a bit this weekend, and have yet to get into WvWvW. Queue times must be absurd.
