Urgh, looks like the same haters and doomprophets that linger on the official forums (and probably got banned there) have found their way to this forum.
No, GW2 is not meant to be a "WoW killer",...
.. aren't those the same riding brooms that came with the halloween costume, and don't move faster than run speed?
If so, shut up and stop whining. Getting a bit tired of people who complain about...
Yes, i have.
But you should realise that GW2 is not "WoW with better graphics". It is an entirely different game.
The camera, it is such a clumsy thing to use.
Which is good, as the earlier dungeons were a bit too much "die, run back, zerg, die, run back..."
It is a very good game. It has none of the obvious problems that "this other MMO" has at the moment.
GW2 beats it.
What i like especially is that you can just log for one hour and do some...
Most people, that did not read into the description of this game, think this is WoW with better graphics. It is not. When you buy the game with this attitude you'll end up disappointed.
Common...
More SPvP battlegrounds, more armour options, more town clothes and a way to change my character's appearance.
Anyone else experiencing these?
I have sufficient money on my paypal account, everything seems to work, but the gems do not appear.
Arrogant game designers... what else is new?
Which is the problem with almost all new MMOs these days. They all lack proper endgame. WoW has a wide variation of endgame, and that is why it is still going strong.
I think the biggest issue here is that most players are former/current WoW players and expected the game to be WoW with better graphics.
Though, i concur, endgame is lacking, PvE is lacking as...
Same here, i think GW2 just lacks the incentive to level up and do things. I spend most of my time on GW2 roleplaying, but if that dies down, i don't think it'll be difficult to quit the game...
MoP looks very new and shiny, but the gameplay underneath is more of the same and not that good. People will return.
Witty retort, but...
... why so serious?
This is great news!
Disagree, almost all players i've met thusfar are former WoW players.
May also be caused by the fact that the "view distance of mobs and players" is very low.
I am pretty sure WoW will start leaking players again once the initial rush dies off. It's pretty much the same game, still, except some new minigame additions.
And MoP dungeons are still mindnumbingly easy.
I am level 44 and tired of leveling. :>
I played MoP for a bit last night (yes) and i found it underwhelming. The areas seems rather dull and there was little variation in scenery. And i am really tired of the "leveling -> collect points"...
What i wonder is how many GW2 players have gone "back" to WoW.
From what i can tell, judging by the activity on my server/friendlist, atleast some.
Sounds like hacking to me.
