    Ring of Fire help (Proph)

So I've got my warrior and am using 6/8 heroes, and am on the mission Ring of Fire.. The one with those seals that instantly drain your energy when you get into range of them. So pretty much, I keep wiping because my group doesn't do enough damage to them without energy, and all the mobs end up killing us.

Anyone have a group comp recommendation to make this mission possible?

I've tried stacking melee, but they dont build enough adrenaline fast enough to DPS it down before the mobs kill us.

Tryin to grind out HoM points but at this rate i'm honestly thinking it's not worth the headache that is GW1.

Ranged damage often works wonders... a barrage ranger, spirit spammer ritualist and a necromancer minion master (it's better that the minions are attacked and killed, than you) are all great to have. In addition, make sure you have enough healing power to keep everyone healthy.

If you can't get through it, just send me a pm with your in-game name, and I will try to run you through... if we can figure out a time when we're both online.

Those are definitely annoying, but there are ways around them (some literally). If you're having trouble at the fortress, consider looping around the back of the fortress and attacking from behind, which is what you're meant to do but most people don't bother now a days because of OP hero setups.

Definetly do not try to focus on using lots of warriors. Warriors don't have the DPS to kill them well enough and they will pull your monks into the Seal's range, causing your monk to lose his energy. Whenever the monk has no energy, your team has big problems.

Anyway, a minion master necromancer is a HUGE help.
You can also use a longbow and slowly shoot the seal down from outside it's range, flagging your hero/henchman away the seal, but you'll have to use a hero or choose a ranger secondary.
Spirit spamming will take a seal down very fast, especially when paired with a minion master (zerg setup ftw (; ), but you might not have access to that if you're new to GW.
If you have heroes, try give them signets. I always keep Signet of Rejuvination on my healer monk, and other classes have some useful ones like Sig of Sorrow, Sig of Agony, Unnatural Signet (I love giving this one to all my Mesmers). Don't go crazy with signets though, no more than 3 or 4 in a build or you will be way too gimicky in my experience.

It is not that hard to nuke those towers with a fire-nukign ele either. You just need to coordinate your attack a bit and be sure to rest up afterwards. Unless you are in HM in which case you might need to change your strategy somewhat.

Feeling tired? There's a nap for that.

You're a warrior, seals don't drain adrenaline iirc, go whack 'em.
