Britannic Lore [BL] was founded over 12 years ago. Britlore at this time has 295 members on roster active in many games. We are primarily a social guild where people can expect to make friends with like-minded individuals and also participate in all game content. We do push for endgame content in both PVE and PVP and any member of Britlore can expect a very full gaming experience with no restrictions other than to be over 16 and within a 2 hr timezone of the UK. We are an English speaking guild but welcome players from other countries.

Why join Britannic Lore?

Simply put, we believe we are one of the best guilds out there. We are a well established guild with all the resources someone could expect from a guild . As examples of some of the things a member of Britlore can look forward to:

1. We have our own guild website with discussion forums for each of the games we're currently active in
2. A Teamspeak server where players can interact and discuss game content
3. Your own personal @britlore.co.uk email address
4. A recruitment process which ensures the right people get accepted into Britannic Lore
5. A committee elected by the members to represent the needs of the guild
6. An active social calendar. Annual guild meets are organised and held as well as the occasional impromptu gatherings in the UK and abroad.

In Britlore you'll not only find people to play with and complete endgame content but long time friends. We're more than just a guild that exists in a game.

How is Britlore Administered?

Good question - a committee is elected once per year by the member base of Britlore. The committee does not interfere in how a game is run by its members but more organises how the guild operates on a higher level.

Each game has its Britlore members and they essentially decide how the game will operate, ranking systems etc.

Officers also exist and are selected based on a combination of factors e.g. how long someone has been with the guild, their contributions to the guild, the amount of time they're spending in game.

How do I join Britannic Lore?

Visit us at http://www.britlore.co.uk and read the recruitment FAQ.

First sign up with a username and password and then visit the recruitment board. In there you will find a FAQ which describes the Britlore recruitment process and rules for joining. Post an application to the recruitment board telling us a little bit about yourself. Remember, we are a social guild interested in the people who join Britlore so please tell us a little bit about yourself as well as the toons you're playing.

Your recruitment application will be picked up by an officer in game and you'll be sent an invite as a candidate in guild. You application is posted to a members board which you can't see. To become a full member of Britannic Lore you must receive 5 recommends from existing members of the guild. There is a minimum time as a candidate which is 28 days. If someone gets their 5 recommends within the 28 day period, they will be promoted to full member when the 28 days has expired and given full access to Britlore's forums.

What's on Britlore's forums?

Anything and everything the guild is currently up to. There's a general board for any old nonsense. Expect to find funny videos, stories, games etc. All the forums for each game are also included as well as their corresponding PvE and PvP signup boards. There are also many other custom boards set up by members covering activities extracurricular to the games we participate in.

So, that's about it. We're looking forward to seeing you in game. Britlore will be focusing on everything GW2 has to offer and there is an active guild calendar of events. There will be plenty of fun to be had by all and we look forward to seeing you in game.
