Sell your unidentified dyes for 5+ silver a piece. If you identify them they usually suck and sell for far less.

I have gone through about 50 unidentified dyes so far (seem to drop on lvl 1-15 characters alot, I have noticed), 49 of them have only been worth less then 1s, 1 a rare was worth 30s.
The current price of unidentified dyes is around 5s.
So if I had sold those 50 unidentified dyes I would have 2g 50s - tax.
vs
Selling identified dyes I would have 79s - tax.
Therefore, unless you get extremely lucky getting 1 out of the 490 dyes worth a few gold, your better off selling unidentified dyes.
Well now lvl 75, I like to think I've got a handle of the game,I'm now hitting Orr hard, though I haven't only just started. I would be rich if I didn't always use my dyes. What can I saw I'm pretty lol.
Buy orders are the secret to getting rich in this game. To avoid your untimely death, I'd start there.

I'm only lvl 20 so i know about that lvl area. I just sell everything that is a blue or what not on the trading post. I have about 20 silver waiting for me to pick up right now from a few days of playing.
Well wait till you get to lvl 30 your going to need that money, the manuals and cultural armour will set u back a few gold pieces. But I'm with u on the dyes, I've got 40 odd colours and 4 rares. All from drops.
