Well for your level, 17, I would reccomend farming the Centaurs on the whole right side of the Queensdale (Human) map. They will drop small bags alot which you can sell for 23 copper each
Trade your currency on another game for it
I'd say die trying, this is a coin poor game. Out of all rpg's this is the stingiest i've played, so be prepared to work your butt off. I'm lvl 80 and dirt poor. and I farm alot.
Do you farm a lot in Orr?
I am leveling all 8 crafting professions and have a whopping 2G. I salvage almost everything for mats. My 2 "mains" are lvl 80 and 40 sumthin.
My son doesn't craft anything, sells all his mats and has 25G. His chars are about the same levels as mine.
More then one way to get there. I will catch up to him someday...but not today :-(
Um, how can you have trouble farming more than 2 gold? Doing one Grenth event in Orr and I usually get 1.5-4 gold after I sell everything.
Just make sure you have a good, spammable AOE available, so you can spam AOE the big packs.
Oh, and keep an omnomberry bar buff at all times.
Yes i do, but i solo, and mobs respawn to darn fast for my liking, so i farm the lvl 70-75 areas, still not enough drops for coin.
Wasn't intended as a complaint about only having 2G, just pointing out you can make money in this game in more than one way. Another thing to make the game more interesting IMO,
Right now my goal isn't to make alot of gold. I haven't even been to Orr. My main runs around doing map completion in the lower areas and get mats for my other crafting toons at the same time.
I decided to focus on the map and getting 8 skills to 400 first.
