Also, the Wiki has quite a bit of information on crafted gear.

guildhead is completely wrong about what armors have the same model types as each other...

I got a cool armor set for my elementalist from the heart/karma vendors in lornars pass.

I rather like the crafted cloth armor although the female version has a rather skimpy top the harem style pants are kind of cool looking...
