Spam email from iEntry

No one responded so I guess I should make a new topic for it.

I got an email from iEntry a few days after registering here, welcoming me as a member and telling me about a "Live Webinar from Adobe: Four Essential Marketing Goals for Retailers."

Did I agree to this by registering? Are they using this forum as a vehicle to gather email addresses? What's the deal?

Probably it has something to do with that.. Although I doubt it is a spam message.

When registering you probably forgot to uncheck the option that allows them to send you emails with special offers etc.
You should be able to unsubscribe from their mailing list to prevent any further offers.
