Grawl as a playable race.

Having been a dedicated WoW player from pretty much the beginning of WoW till the failure of WoW in it's recent expansion. I have not played much if any GW1. I have to say, GW2 really looks like it will flat out crush WoW.

I was reading the news update about the Grawl and their history...and damn I really wish they were playable now.

Although I am satisfied with the current playable races, anyone else want to play a Grawl now?

I think it would be cool to get to play a more "monster" like race. Although I am pretty happy with the variety of races we've been given right now. It might be a little hard in the world as to explain why the Grawl would be joining the ranks of the other races. It's not that the Grawl don't face the same threat as the other races, they are just more tribal and... primitive? in nature. But also keep in mind that the Grawl do seem to be an often over zealous race. Religious beliefs could be the very reason that Grawl don't attempt to join the other races currently.

Kalg if you played the original Guild Wars, you might not be so interested in playing a Grawl. In the original Guild Wars, they were pretty generic bad guys. They weren't nearly as interesting as many of the other creatures you fought. They do, however, look a whole lot cooler in Guild Wars 2.

I know they did say that there was a chance that they would be adding races in future expansions, but I'd seriously doubt Grawl will be one of them. Tengu, however, seem pretty likely to me.

I would be pretty happy to see the Tengu being playable. I finally bought Factions (the only expansion I hadn't played) this weekend and it's crazy fun. The Tengu are pretty awesome, I'd be happy to welcome them as playable.

I think the Charr are like an intelligent version of a monster. So smart Grawls would be like Charr, at least I'm assuming they would be.
