This would be awesome. A little bit like the Cantonese (I think it's Cantonese or Korean or something) phrases used in Firefly. Even though you don't know what the phrase means you can get the general idea from the tone.

Like speaking to a Charr NPC who uses a few guttural words at the end of dialogue. You can translate it as you like but you'd get the hint if he/she was angry or happy. I'd probably always think it was something rude!

Hi Patch, welcome to these forums. I think it's safe to assume that we will at least see traces of languages in GW2. They have created a couple of cryptic languages for GW1, and those will definitely return in GW2.

Sounds good! I've not played GW1 but am starting a trial today. By all accounts it's a different style of MMO to any before and GW2 is going to be even more so. Excited!

Ok for those that wanted it the Charr language dictionary

    NalqaD: n. Mate
    Soj: n. Food
    Nagh: n. Rock

Lets face it from a cats point of view ( no matter the size) the world consists of things to eat or have sex with, anything else doesnt matter so gets lumped unter the category of rocks.
