In my opinion, even the exotic gears of level 80 is very ugly for my taste. That heavy Draconic Armor looks like a dude cosplaying an anime robe. Come to think of it, all basic armor in the game is really ugly. But the stats are the best in the game, I couldn't argue with that. The aesthetic armors like the ones you get from Cultural vendors, PvP, Dungeons, etc.. are all AWESOME !! Just some are to my taste, others not so much. But all looks better than the basic ones.Which is why it's my own personal long term goal, to craft that armor set for combat and stats. But will HAVE to transmute it with the Tier 3 Cultural Armor. 119 gold... time to *cough* grind.. But it is just me. And that's how much value I put in the in-game currency. Also, money is needed to buy mats to craft as well.About grouping, yes.. It may not be needed to party up. But you HAVE to travel with a group of people in the higher level zones. You really don't want 10 mobs to chase you right after they appear in your LOD. Hahahaha. Need guildmates as a body guard. But hey, you can't complete the map on your own, and they can't complete the map on their own. So why not complete the map together?

Point. I guess I never really think about that since my server has pretty much been full since day 1. The 3 areas with world bosses and Orr are pretty much always full of activity regardless of the time of day. The zergs jut get a bit bigger during prime time.

I'd really like to know specifics on the OP's toughness stacking, to the point they find it useless. I find toughness to be extremely important, especially in melee builds. If you're utilizing a class that stays longer in the fray then this stat is of the utmost importance.

    Pretty good original review.

I can understand that it was written ages ago around the time the game was released and there had not been much experience with dungeons and FOTMs then.

Stacking stats other than Power and Perception have a place and can go a great deal towards survivability in environments like dungeons and FOTM depending on the rest of the build and play-style. I experiment with PVE builds quite a bit and am sometimes surprised at what produces the best results. For example, on a warrior that likes using stationary weapons like the hammer and the long bow, toughness may help a great deal, since with those weapons one has less mobility and is bound to get hit more often than when using weapons that can attack on the move.
