8 all together, at least 1 of each race and profession.

My ranger is level 70+ and all the others range somewhere from 5-25.

Once I finish leveling the ranger and pick up a max set of armor and weapons so that he is ready for any guild events like dungeons or WvW I will start alt hopping like crazy.

I currently have 5 characters, but I keep deleting 3 of them over and over to remake new alts and start over again.

Not that this is a content, but I think I have you beat. lol I have fifteen character slots, spread over 2 accounts.

I love them both equally to be honest, they are very unique and fun to play..

80 warrior sylvari - Extro leveled him in 7 days and i experienced a lot of content (leveling it really fast)

55 Guardian charr - General Bloodrush - enjoying guardian more than warrior for leveling atleast and this character looks badass

22 engineer asura - Aztro - Engineer is really fun but im preferring him in spvp

2 elementalist sylvari - Aztra - looking forward to leveling it, looks awesome already and its my only female character

2 thief human - Xilent - Yea.. i pretty much just got this because of the name, and it matches thief or mesmer i think and i prefer the look of thief.

I freely admit to being an altoholic. I paid £42.50 for the gems for an additional 5 slots, all of which are full now, but not necessarily with permant characters, I am still trying to work out which I like. My level 14 Human Ranger is my highest and I have a Norn Guardian, a Norn Fighter, and a Human Elemenalist (all about level 10 or 11, I don't level quickly) which are pretty set, the rest may change.

I have promised myself that any more slots will be bought using gold to buy the gems not real cash. Due to that attitude I find that I spend alot of time gathering and selling the mats on the TP, it may not seem like things go for a lot but it soon adds up. I can do the crafting later, with this number of gatherers I soon get the mats together.

How on earth do you guys level so fast? What takes you a few days to get to level 55 take me 1.5 months lol.

Play more, I would imagine.

I've just been logging on, completing the daily achievements and then logging off. That's maybe an hour a day and some days I'm too busy to log on at all. If I could play all evening I'd probably have a level 80 character too.

I think mine are:

23 Warrior
18 Elementalist
14 Ranger
4 Necro
1 Thief

The latter two I created primarily to register the names, though I'll level them up one day. Given the level curve is fairly flat I guess that means I could be level 60 or so if I'd stuck with one character.

I've made quite a few for "someday" (wanted to go ahead and get their names). However I'm only really playing two. Ruse, who is now 80 (still all kinds of things I want to do on her) and Sarielle, my guardian. Ruse I have been keeping for "progression" stuffs and WvW. Sarielle I tool around on, (very) slowly working on zone completion etc., for when I'm just not feeling like a hectic gaming session. With my job, sometimes after work I just feel like relaxing.
