Serious dislike this time. I really hate how half of the professions in the game can stealth. Like, seriously? Mesmers, make perfect sense. Engis.... okay I guess that kind of makes sense... potions are pretty magical.... Rangers? What the fu- Gah! It's not cool if EVERYONE can do it! Guardians get spirit weapons. NO ONE ELSE GETS SPIRIT WEAPONS! Engi's get turrets, NO ONE ELSE GETS TURRETS! I'd say we get teleports but Ele's, Mesmers, AND guardians get those too! Necros and Engi's get poisons... we get... we get.... uhhh... throwing daggers! hurrraaaayyy

I got a dislike that has materialized since I hit level 70. The world is feeling dead because there is no one around and very few events. The events I have seen I have either completed myself or they were group events and I couldn't do anything. After getting the heart done I had nothing to do, this made it worse than just another MMO. This game is seriously population dependent. I really longed for those first levels where tons of people were running around and events were popping up like crazy. Felt very fun then, feels like a grindy MMO right now.

Down-levelling is probably the single best feature of the game because it ensures content is never trivialised. Everquest, for example, has hundreds of zones but only a couple of dozen are of any use because expansions have trivialised the rest by level (too low) or content (nothing useful drops there).
I agree. Plus the Dynamic events are just as good.

Like you said, in other games the reason many zones become ghost towns is because no one has a reason to go to the zone/area again due to being too high a level. With GW2 you can explore the whole world map still at level 80 and benefit from it.

GW2 just feels so much more alive than other mmorpg games. And I'm talking about the NPC players (moving, running around, talking to you or other npc's, etc) and dynamic events. Games like LOTRO, the NPC's and mobs just stand around in one spot, with no dynamic events.

Might depend on when you're playing and what specific zone you're in, as well as which server. ONce the guesting goes live, this is a problem what will be solved. You can just go to a server that's busier that time of day and you'll have events.

Yesterday I was in a high level zone and I had event, after event, after event. So much so that I couldn't get to what I was doing.

Just happen to be running through the area.
I totally agree with you, I just stumbled upon that one as well and what a surprise it was. It starts out small but ends really big.

It still makes me a bit sad though, I've dreamed about duel boxing with my sweetie. Dungeon raids, PVP, or just questing together would be fun. *sigh* Oh well, I guess some dreams are never meant to be reality. *snif*
I'll be your boyfriend. Together we will conquer the world!!

Seriously tho. I played WOW for a long time and GW2 brought so much stuff on the table that I always wanted in WOW. Such as level scaling, no super dubber gear that takes a crazy amount of raiding to get, etc.

The only things that I don't like about GW2, which were already posted in this whole thread, are:
1 - Weapon skills. I would definitely like to be able to move them around on the skill bar.
2 - Weapon skills. Due to skill being assigned to certain weapon duel wielding some becomes obselete. Mace and Shield... you get 2 blocking abilities. Same for Mace and Sword. But it's ok I guess. I have so much weapon choice that I shouldn't be complaining about this.
3 - No mount. Yes we have the teleporting which is cool. But not having mount kind of remove the Epicness of a Fantasy world. To me anyway.
4 - F key like StacyX said is a big pain in the ass.
    5 - No duel specc.

That's about it. But again the game is great and for 60$ I don't even know why I have the audacity to make complaints.

I want to pitch in to this thread and tell you what I hate about Guild Wars 2.

I hate the fact that this game is too addictive. Damn, There are some nights that I want to do some work, to relax and watch TV series. But I can't, because GW2 is giving too much fun to do all that. I also hate the fact that this game takes so much of your time, keeping you online for hours... I need some sleep too, you know.

I also hated that this game has an enganging story-line. It's my weakness in games, if I see a game that has storyline too awesome with decisions that brances out different stories, I couldn't stop playing. Dammit, I need some rest too..

I hate you ArenaNet... for giving me a game that gives out too much fun..
