ArenaNet Not letting me play

Friend bought me the game from the official site, gave me a cd key. Used it and got the game (Digital Deluxe). However after a week when I tried to login it either says Connection Failed or The server was unable to authenticate your gameplay privileges. Well okay, I sent 2 support tickets to Arenanet, they told me that I can use my cd key to reauthenticate, but Idk my cd key..I just activated it. Well then they told me to provide the order number, email and the credit card number of the one used to buy the game, well I can't....so then they told me, too bad LOL

Get the Info from your friend. They wont let you play with it...

This is typical Service from an MMO. Every single one will act the same. You need the CC, the billing info, and the key, with they will not release it to you with out it. Even single player games act this way.

You have to prove to them that you are the owner or that it was gifted to you. If not, you could just be a hacker(not saying you are one, but what is going through their mind) so they will not release it with out that info. Time to call your friend!

Sorry to hear that. But this makes me feel better because I don't want someone calling up and being able to get my account without the key, CC info or really any proof other than your word. It's a great game, work with your friend to get in, it'll be worth it.

AKA I stole a credit card, the owner refuted the charges, and now I need to find another way to steal the game.
