*Edit: I posted this and realized that they're hard to see unless you blow them up, sorry about that.

Some of these are actually 5040x1040 because I was still working out the bugs in the UI. Nothing too spectacular but I'll aim to get some action shots later on. Skyrim is just the test game for the SLI surround, in fact it doesn't support multimonitor normally. I'm really looking forward to getting a copy of GW2 and trying it out on 3 screens... or 2 screens... or 1, I just want to play it

Oooh, those are awesome! It's like a panoramic lens, haha.

    Using any mods?

-is tempted to post a thread for Skyrim screenshots- I take way too many. If there are similar enthusiasts, we should do eeeet.

Favorite an item or spell, then in the favorites hover over it and press whatever number you want to hotkey it to. That way you don't need to open that menu constantly.
Oh, that could come in handy. That is definitely one of teh things I dislike abotu the game; the fact that the hotkeys and what you can do (as well as how you level up) are so incredibly poorly explained.

And, yeah the map is horrible. The directional indicator at the top gives roughly no indication of what is what and having bought the game via steam I have no idea what the different symbols are supposed to represent because I have no manual to reference while playing

Feeling tired? There's a nap for that.

I finally got to play skyrim the other day and... it's alright. Great game, but it has several issues that didn't stick with me.

It felt to me like I was replaying oblivion with better visuals and a tweaked world... just as many, if not more bugs.

To be honest, after playing it for 7 hours, I can't go any further. It isn't hooking me into its world. I normally pick quality > quantity, so for my games like portal 2 had more value. I played that game for 22 hours and was entertained all throughout.

Still a great game, that most will love. Just not for me.

ye i agree, at first it was awesome...then it was good...and few hours of playing later "whats wrong with this game?"
and i stopped playing it. maybe its cuz i played so much oblivion with at least 5 different characters completed over 200 quests on 2 of them or maybe i just got too old for that xD
and yes ofc quality > quantity (oblivion had both *-*), maybe biggest problem with skyrim is that F$^#ing Fail main story, it feels that they putted more effort at Dark brotherhood which is probably best thing in skyrim and one of best in oblivion (quests are just too good and different from others) and yet, both of those story lines are too short...
so much random ***** and countless mini quests with short main stories = cant replace legendary oblivion which is too old now

    sorry for my english >_<

I've been having a blast just wandering around, like I did in Oblivion. Confession: I never even remotely came close to finishing the main quest in that game, yet I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

I guess one of the reasons I enjoy Skyrim so much is because it feeds a very specific desire of mine -- to go out and explore a fantastic world. If I want a great story with detailed characters, I'll play a Bioware game. If I want to mostly make my own fun with a solid, huge world to back me up...Skyrim's the ticket. (Though frankly, I've enjoyed the questlines so far that I've done.)

As long as I can do stuff like this:

    and this:

    ...somewhere that looks like this:

    ...I'm happy.

That looks great! I wish there was an Elder scrolls MMO, that would get me into the series! Some people say "It doesn't need to be/can't be". Skyrims story isn't good and it's essentially a filler. I believe it would work well as an MMO. One thing that seperate MMORPG's and Rpg's for me (other than the online) is that I don't have to focus on the story in MMO's. Plus skyrims world is so vast, it makes me wonder if I could explore it with a friend or openly with someone (co-op).
