Yay! My headline got some attention

Now to get to business.
My husband and I are on the search for the elusive RP guilds that exist in only the most awesome of MMO games out there. I enjoy PvE, crafting, and general treasure hunting. My husband tends to favor both PvE and PvP (though not as competitive as others) and enjoys dungeon and instance crawling. We are most active during the weekends and whenever we have free time during the week as both my husband and myself work and attend college. We both have about ten years of off and on MMO gaming experience.

Our ideal guild would be a moderate RP guild with scheduled RP meet-ups, character stories, guild story, organized, helpful, handles conflict in a mature manner, and has a casual/laid back group of people to befriend. A family setting.
What we don't want are guilds that gripe if we don't log on for six hours each day, don't gain 5 levels in one sitting, or those that force members to play their characters a certain way.

Welcome to the forums hope y'all enjoy it here. As for the guild there seem to be a few casual guilds around...and I hear there is even an all Asura guild being created soon...just some details being worked out till they start "Inquisitioning" the hookah so keep an eye out for them if you are interested

So you and your hubby sound like the type of people we want! It sounds like you two get it! We started this guild as a group of friends playing D&D one night. We were talking about the guilds we were in, in other MMOs. We had a lot of complaints. Then we came up with the idea to create a guild that has all the good stuff you should get from a guild and get rid of all the bad stuff you always get in a guild. We HATE drama! After talking about it for awhile, we realized that we also wanted to play GW2 and we all just happen to be role players. And so Ship Happens was made. It's an odd name for a RP guild but we decided on our theme to be "steampunk airship pirates" who had an air ship but our one and only asura in the guild crashed it due to being sober while driving. We are very layed back, we do not require any amount of game play. If we did that, then the game would feel like a job, not a game. We just want to enjoy the game, the company, and above all the role play.
