    The only reason I have fun playing a mesmer is because it reminds me of



    That and purple butterflies.

    I like to think of my Mesmer as a trickery duelist. But sadly all the pink is kinda turning me off to the class. It makes the class feel more magical and I don't like that. I prefer medium armored classes over everything else and preferably projectile based weapons. I love the sword+pistol combo, but hate the greatsword and the magical feel that it has.

    I play my mesmer as the illusion mage that he is. I don't really think much about the colour of the spells. I've said it before, there's only so many colours to distinguish the different classes, why not use pink. It is just another illusion.

    The pink and butterflies was weird at first but I don't even notice it now. We have a 'Fruit Ninja' game at work and every time I test it I pick the pink butterfly effect over ones like flames or stars
