In everquest they had a monk. They could feign death (play dead) to get out of dying. Do kicks, punches, upper cuts, etc. It was pretty cool. Never got into it though, I rather of played a bard. But unarmed class is totally awesome![]()

What would be cool would be if you could do combat as unarmed and have skills for it like any other weapon set. Professions already have a selection to choose from so why not have unarmed being a choice aswell.
You see... Monks are cool and all. But when I made this thread I had more radical ideas. ArenaNet pretty much has an infinite sea of martial arts they could use as inspiration.
There's really no need for another generic monk class.
...Damn you Fey now I need to go buy that game.
And yes Fisticuffs class would be cool.

I see their pain. On some level I even understand their pain. I just can't feel their pain.

I don't think the fist has any place here. Ninja thief's take the cake.
lol double post. But seriously. Monks can go be generic with Pandas. We need none of them here.
I imagine this as some kind of a Beserker class with knuckle dusters.

I swear, every time I play a fighting game now I just tell myself "Man I wish I could punch stuff in GW2". I can't reiterate enough how awesome it would be and how much generic monks are not required, if any MMO would just take that first step and try it. Hoping it's this one, but kind of doubt it.
