Thread: So how many are we now?

I still love GW2. The graphics are really great. I used to think the landscape in LOTRO was better, but after exploring in GW2, I definitely no longer think that. The graphics in GW2 are far better.

LOTRO just came out with their "expansion" today, and I have a lifetime account with that game, but haven't played it the past 3 months and can't even motivate myself to play it again after having played GW2.

I don't love the LOTRO game like I do the movie.

TC777 -- It's funny, but LotRO is the game to which I compare GW2 graphically as well. I like that game, and have a founder (lifetime) account as well, but I haven't played since GW2 came out. There's no comparison in terms of gameplay, for certain. But I do love the whole GW2 graphic style. Granted, the costumes aren't Lineage II, but they're good, and the chars are better looking than LotRO too, I think. A lot less "stylized", even with plant, cat and chihuaua people.

There's no doubt that MOP is having an effect on player concurrency in gw2 atm, but I expected that all along. I'm not really concerned though. It hasn't affected my play experience personally at all in gw2 so I'm not too worried. If this is the worst of it (since mop just came out), then it can only get better from here. =)
MoP looks very new and shiny, but the gameplay underneath is more of the same and not that good. People will return.
