You are standing in the middle of a field

You are standing in the middle of a grassy field. To the North, there is a winding path. To the West, there is a forbidding looking forest. To the East there is a small cottage with a rickety fence and a battered mailbox. To the South, there is an ominous mist...

If you have no clue what is going on, read this. You will find the section on Commands particularly useful.

This is a very simple game! All that are required are the skills of reading comprehension and logic. Failure to exercise these skills will result in divine retribution.

Everyone can play. Everyone starts in the same place and can follow a different path.

Failure to start from the beginning, pay attention or act intelligently will invoke a chaotic response!

You are standing in front of a rickety fence. It doesn't look like it has been opened in years. The gate is closed and there is a rusty padlock preventing it from opening. To the North and South you see an overgrown path that appears to go around the house. To the West, you see a grassy field.

You head south along a slightly overgrown path. Unkempt rose bushes and wild flowers line both sides of the path. Something gleams in the dirt as sunlight relfects off if it. To the North, you see a path that leads to the front of the house. To the South you see a path that appears to lead around to the back of the house.
