You continue North. The cliff is steeper now and the beach looks like it becomes narrower ahead. The sky is turning grey and the sea is beginning to look angry. To the North and South, the beach continues. To the East, the deep blue sea.

You decide not to forge ahead, but instead retrace your step. To the North and South, the beach continues. To the West, a steep rocky path meanders up the cliff. To the East, the waves appear to be higher and the sky roils with clouds.

West, carefully
You carefully climb the treacherous cliff, grabbing the occasional root to help you up. It is very difficult work and you are sweaty and tired when you arrive at the top. The sky is overcast and you have no clue what time it is, but you think that it might be dark soon. There is a feeling in the air that makes you think it could rain at any moment.
You are in a small clearing and a faint path is visible leading through the trees up ahead. This appears to have been a popular vantage point at one time; nearby is a battered chair and various items are visible scattered throughout the grass. You spy an old fire pit and a pile of wood next to it. The wood is covered with leaves and cobwebs.
Exits: To the East, a steep path leads down to the beach. To the West, a faint path and a copse of trees.
