I hope there are Dervish in GW2

My main guy, Venn, is a Dervish and from the looks of things, some professions are getting the axe. If so I'm hoping the Warrior class can accommodate their unique skill set.

i dont really like Dervishs lol i did A/D a few times but not Really that much ): NF class over all i did not like.

Must...Have...melee AOE attacks. And Hoodz... and scythes plox.

I've been using a dervish in my Nightfall run. A great PvE class, but I definitely question their use in PvP unless you can group people together in a cluster. Or rely heavily on a secondary class. I'm running a D/W doing just PvE content and I'm using two warrior skills.

I remember running into some dervs in PvP who just stacked leventy billion conditions on you and conditioned you to death. I hated those guys

Yeah I'm going to have to main my other character concepts if I can't be a dude w/ a scythe that wears a hood! I also had a couple decent tank builds for PvE!

They have such good burst damage it doesn't even matter if it's not a cluster. There are some buffs that heal making them much more formidable than an assassin. And not to mention sycthe attacks that consume the buff, add snares and let you unload some hellish dps on your slowed, fleeing, dying victim.
