I was introduced to GW1 by a girlfriend back in 2006 through the "World Preview Event" open beta weekend for Nightfall prior to its release (she was actually a Factions addict, and it took her quite a long time to convince me to play). I quickly got hooked, and purchased the entire trilogy upon Nightfall's release... I played it often and with much enthusiasm until around April of 2008 when I discovered Call of Duty 4 on my PS3. I eventually sold my account and became addicted to Call of Duty, but later in 2010, I repurchased the Guild Wars full set... I didn't play it as much as I used to, but it was there for me when I felt like playing it.

... and now I play Guild Wars 2.

Wow... I feel pretty young. I'm 19. Found GW1 at WalMart maybe 3 or 4 years ago.
