    So yeah, ignoring that their website is worthless and outdated, I can't find anything about this specific issue. They have been having loads of email confirmations problems since launch, it's been almost a week this is kind of unacceptable. You said you sent emails to people from the Wiki? You did create an actual support ticket, right?

    They really need a 1-800 number.

    I dunno if you'd want to use this number since you're in Canada but this is off NCsoft's site

    "Phone customer service for billing and technical issues from Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 5 p.m. CT, by calling (512) 225-6359. Phone support for in-game issues is not available."
    My God, really?! After thinking so highly of their game and how much work they seem to put into it and patches and keeping in contact with the public on Facebook and Twitter and such during Beta? I figured they must have awesome customer service! That's one of the things I loved about WoW was the customer service. This revelation just makes me angry!

    But that does give me an idea, thinking about their FB and Twitter accounts. Are they still responding to people regularly on those? Cuz if so, she might be able to get a reply there.

    And by the way, Fey, thank you so much for looking into it. I really appreciate your help in digging through and trying to find an answer for her. That's very kind of you. =)

    All I wanted was to be able to play with my friends on a new game that I felt was awesome and had amazing promise. So I spent months talking up GW2 on my Facebook page and in emails to friends. I bought two accounts, one for me and one for my son. And several of my friends and even my sister got GW2 accounts based on my enthusiasm. And now this happens to one of them. I feel guilty and responsible. =(

    Okay, I have some hope. My son's friend is here visiting and heard me raging to my son about this problem and he told me that he also had this same problem during the first week GW2 launched. He said he found a page that listed a bunch of issues and fixes for them. And that's what he used to fix his email issue. So I went looking and I think I found the page.

    There's 3 pages of issues. But on the first page near the bottom is Account Login Issues. And on that page are several issues but one of them is about Email Authentication. Clicking on that gives a procedure to follow.

    I've sent this information to my friend (lostfire) but she's not online right now so I don't know yet if it will fix the problem. But I'm hoping fervently that it will. I'll reply if it does.

    I finally got on !!!! Thank you all very much for help . I finallly found ticket and wrote in, they reset everything for me and its awesome! Besty Gf huggles!

    I am SOOOO happy that you finally got on and that we can play together! I was so upset that you had to fight so hard just to play a game you paid for. It shouldn't have been that hard. =( But, you're in now so that's awesome.

    Wow, that did take some time! I am so sorry you had all that trouble, but I am glad you are with us and can play with your bestie! I am new here but have been having a great time. This is a great place to be. I hope you have many enjoyable hours in GW2! And here too, of course!
