Would you donate to charity if...

You could see where the money was going.
For example a website where you choose what project to sponser,
An example of a project: a charity needs £200 to pump water into a village in africa, when the work is done there is a short video/picture message you get back showing you were your money went.

Yeah I'm thinking about setting something up, just doing some research first. It has been done but not to the extent I plan to do it.
I don't wan't donating to be a one off payment with no feedback... I aim to tell and show people where their money is going.. I don't like charities that give vague responses when you ask them where the money goes.

I would donate to a good charity in the US, my country of origin. In fact, I occasionally do. I don't really support donating to other countries, not because they don't deserve it, but because my govt. already gives a great deal of money to other countries already, many of whom take the money and still hate us. I firmly believe that one should make sure one's own house is in order before offering to clean someone else's.

    1. same as Robin only from the UK.

    2. Your images and video clip would be meaningless to me, you could very easily set them up and use the same images and video for the next 10 years to the same 10 million donors. Similar as some of the scams already doing the rounds. When Africa starts caring about Africa, then maybe i will too!

    3. I would be less inclined to rust a loner like yourself to not be a scammer than an official charity. 1" of doubt = not a penny coming out of my pocket thank you!

How are you going to organise this? You need offices in whatever place the donation is being put to work (let's assume Africa for fun), you'll have to deal with the legal issues, set up various bank accounts to store the money, get international stuff out of the way. How much of the donation is going towards that? Are you planing to make an income out of this?

How do you prove the video/picture is actually from the well that your money bought? Are you going to notarize it or otherwise have a sort of official seal? The idea certainly sounds interesting, I've thought about that a lot of times myself and it is actually the main reason why I'm not interested in charity donations of any sort. I'm curious about your answers to these questions.

wow how many times does a guy have to save the world to get some respect lol

i remember seeing him play with his band at Glastonbury, might have been in 2000. Lets say he wasn't popular. People were throwing bottles of water at them. One of the guitarist was stood in front of a big speaker when a bottle came towards him, he backed off but to no avail it was a perfect shot and covered him head to toe lmao

I wouldn't call myself a Keanu fan (or a fan of any actor) but Bill & Ted is one of my all time favs of that era and i've been using it online for a good 10 years, longer offline
