what is the next best thing before legendary weapons?
Hi guys been so busy on gw2, nearly maxed out my alt (78) and he's starting to feel weak in Orr. Don't have time, money or willpower to craft a legendary weapon but I want something powerful still. What's a good greatsword sword and normal sword. Any ideas? Thanks.
The legendary weapons are just skins. Just pick what suits you best. I have a power/toughness/vitality build.Originally Posted by darkheart

No you're missing the point. It doesn't matter what specific weapon you get. Search the Trading Post for exotic weapons of your level (though I'd just wait till 80) and buy the one with the stats you want. The named "unique" exotics with nice skins aren't "fairly cheap" or "easy to produce".
Look for anything with "pearl" in the name, which seems to be the crafted exotic set. I got that one, it's not that pretty, but it does the job until I have leisure/gold to spend on skins.

Seriously? I gave you a straightforward answer to your question. I guess I shouldn't have responded seeing as it's a stupid question in the first place caused by the fact that you're too lazy to open the Trading Post (or do a simple Google search) and look for yourself.

Well I apologize for trying to help you with a question. Anything exotic is what your looking for, sorry did not have a detailed answer if thats what makes us a "Ill mannered Dick".
It's true that Legendaries are just skins. They just generally look better than most Exotics, and therefore, are more sought after. I wouldn't truly say they're mainly a weapon, I'd say they're a milestone in the game.
