People only equate gaming to being young because their parents and grandparents didn't play them. Even though the reason why is because your parents were probably 30+ by the time things like the Spectrum ZX came out.
The 30+ yr old adults today are the first generation that really grew up on gaming. If you're stopping things you enjoy because you have hit a certain age, you're doing it wrong. There's no rule in life that says you have to emulate your parents. The amount of people who drop things they love doing, get a mortgage they can hardly afford and pop out a few kids just because they think that's just the norm, are making life choices for the wrong reasons.
