Paid Tournament tickets already being given out?

So I was just sPvPing and went up a glory rank and when I opened the chest I had a Tournement ticket included and the description was 'Used for tournaments which require an entry fee'
I don't do the sPVP tournements that already exist because I don't feel I'm good enough so don't know if it was already something or they've started releasing tickets for the content that is coming out tomorrow?

Paid tournament tickets have been in the game since Beta. They've allowed you to collect them for when they implement the actual feature.

I got one of those things after my first match. I'm holding onto it but will probably never do PvP again.
