I've only ever gotten one off a drop too, but it seems like no one has gotten one in the last month or so. Wonder if they changed it so they don't drop any longer?

In any case, it's honestly smarter to spend gold on the skins via the trading post rather than to get keys; it's probably cheaper in the long run unless you get really lucky. And if you were to get lucky, it'd probably happen with the keys you have on hand already. Especially for the people spending $50+ on keys without getting anything, I really wonder why they didn't just sell those gems for gold and buy exactly what they wanted.

The prices for keys are STUPID high. I cant believe anyone would normally buy them. You get a tonic that turns you into an animal...which is ok for the first few times but then its old, then you get some buffs that can be gotten so much cheaper through food and guild buffs that are always being offered. Why would anyone spend ANY money on them is beyond me, let along the very high prices that AN is asking for.

Their reward structure is really poor imo. Luckily for me, I don't play for that but for people that do, I can see how they would have been turned off by now.

I just let chest pile up in the bank. If I have too many I'll sell them on the TP lol. When I get a key I'll open one and see what I get. Once I went through 8 chests in a row I kept opening and getting keys lol, but that was just once, but I had buffs for awhile.

I'm waiting until act 2 to open my chests. Reading the official forums it doesn't look good either way. lol

I'm not really expecting to get anything but I'll probably gamble on it.

I spent $200 on gems this week.

I can't imagine spending any amount, be it $10 or $1000, and losing my mind over not getting a rare drop. Why not buy it on the auction house if all you're after is a halloween skin?

I spent money on this game to A) support a game I love that is free to play, in hopes of keeping a passtime that I love going strong for years to come, and to B) participate in the Halloween events that the developers have obviously put so much work and care into to try to ensure that we, the players, have a great time.

That being said, I did get a set of shoulders. They're in my bank right now. I like them a lot, but I will hold onto them until one of two things: either I sell them for a huge amount of gold down the road, which is unlikely, or until I get sick of holding onto them and really really want to wear them.

I paid 10 dollars and 1 gold to buy 10 keys JUST for the fact that during the holiday event you have a chance of getting the skins, i had zero luck and got nothing cool!
I will pay money during holiday specials but thats probably about it!

Haha, I love that I finally got myself a mount. It's no replacement for my Spectral Tiger, but then again, my Spectral Tiger never did turn me into a giant frog in a witch hat. Plus one, minus one.

lol I was just getting 25 stacks of the "King" buff to get the giant crown and then riding my broom parading it around.

I had a giant mass of zombies and spiders and stuff behind me trying to hit me (except I'm invulnerable until I get off the broom). Haha.

The cauldron is awesome as well to give people costumes to brawl with and it's good for attracting bait to Melt on. I hate being that frog though it's abilities are so tame compared to the Witch/Warlock ones. (Wish the bat summon was insta-cast though it sucks having to preload abilities for Costume Brawl. lol)

I was portal bombing Mad Kings that got up on ledges in LA last night and tried to rain down pumpkins. It was chaos. Awesome chaos.
