Armour dyes

When I first started playing, I got quite a few armour dye drops. Now, not so much. Just me? Randomness? Anyone else find this?

Depends entirely on how much I harvest and whether or not I have magic find food running. I haven't really noticed an overall downward trend.

I find that humanoid mobs have a higher chance of dropping dyes.

Really? I've only ever gotten two dyes from gathering, and I gathered from every node I saw while getting 100% completion.

I have noticed a definate drop in dye Drops since the mad rush of dyes i managed to get in the first 3 weeks play.

I can't attribute it to having played more intensively time wise of mob kill wise...because i play more and kill a shedload more now than i did during those first few weeks.

It's not area based either (as far as i can tell) due to having to roam the 1-15 and 25-35 areas doing completion.

First few weeks 50+ dyes of all catagories..last 3 weeks 2 common, 1 rare dyes.
