Well, there is a general bug report feature in the game that can be used to report anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. The official forums definitely aren't the place to report other players, as ArenaNet doesn't tolerate that (and they have stated this several times). I don't know the background of the banning of those two people, but it could be that they were first warned, but ignored that warning thus were banned. We know that the mods on the official forums are very strict with the rules (but that's another thread), and unless you know those two people personally and have access to the full history of everything they did on the official forums, I don't think anyone can tell exactly why they were banned.

And I think the keyword in the second part of your sentence is "right now". ArenaNet are dealing with these issues... just not as fast as people want or expect them to.

Just wanted to point out that it's a global economy and a global Trading Post. That is to say, it's not specfic to your server like it is in WoW.

Thats actually good, I didnt know that.

But that means that every server is asking for a ridiculous amount of gold for the item then...

    True, and good point...

My main point is, at the end of the day and in all fairness, this price amount will likely increase and make gold buying more appealing to the players who want the item. I my self consider getting the item as like winning the lottery, no biggie if it does not happen, but great if it does. But some people see this as a need, and in turn will likely buy gold. Thats all Im saying, this price increase just may in fact indirectly cause harm to the economy.

I don't think it will. Anyone who's actually serious about crafting a legendary wouldn't do anything that could risk them getting banned. Even if you buy dusk just flat out, that's only a small part of it.

All MMOrpgs I have ever played have these issues with bots and gold farming. Its an endless battle for the devs to fight, There really is no real way to deal with it.

I report the mail spam but I can't be arsed to report botting after GW1.They did so little to combat it in that game I'm not even going to waste my time, short as it is gaming wise, to report bots.If I read in future it has actual relevance to anything actually being done I'll change my tune.

No breath holding going on at present.

In this game, there is no stat advantage in relation to how much gold you have. If someone wants to spend money to by gold to have more fun so be it. Maybe they got the game for $45 on ebay and instead of the retail price plus tax. As someone mentioned, you could make a ton of gold on the TP too. if someone wants to pay real $$$ to save time gear farming I dont see a problem with it.
Well first off, Im sure thats in violation of the TOS, and second is does give an advantage to players who choose to buy gold over players who choose to follow the rules.

Legit player farming gold: 3 to 10 gold per day

Player who buys gold: 100 - several hundred gold per transaction instantly.

    Example: Dusk

Legit player needs over a month of hardcore farming only to acquire it.

Player who buys gold, instantly has enough gold to acquire it.
