Thread: What's wrong with the optimization?

    What's wrong with the optimization?

All maxed out including supersampling my performance can go as low as 20 in pve, in big events, 27 just running around as lowest, and average can be around 40-50-60 and even 70 in some areas. Even more as max FPS perhaps. In wvw I think I got 16 fps as lowest. I've tested with 3dmark and i get around 9400-9600 points on my gtx 680 superclocked and i5 2500k 4.2 so nothing wrong on my computer, not on my power plan, not wrong drivers.
So what's wrong with it? When I drop my gpu usage drops aswell.

Not sure, I don't experience those issues =/ I do recall them saying the game didn't always like things overclocked.

The optimization process was overclocked by the optimizer from the Jedi Academy resulting in a short circuit que le ronca la berenjena (can't translate that but is something like humongous event)

also, try different nvidia drivers. Some can make the game run bad. I do not know which ones right at this moment so it will have to be trial and error. I use the 304.79 on a 580 and they work pretty good (almost everything maxed) I do get a little stutter in places like lions arche but that place is nuts anyway ;-)

Crappy software is crappy, your gpu won't change anything about a bad graphics engine that is being developed on live servers. So give it another year and your performance will rise automatically with the updates. The problem is not on your end, it's the game client.

If you have Ivy Bridge installed (Intel HD 4000, preferred) you could use LucidLogix software for a Hybrid Parallel Graphics Processing. You'll get a huge boost, trust me. My GTX 670 using the latest drivers and LucidLogix gave me an average of 100 FPS.
