Lets think about this, I mean really put your thinking cap on. The woman says shes been playing for four years now, I dont know what GW2 you are playing, but the one im playing been out for a few months. The "four years" comment (since it seems to me that a true Anet fan would at least distinguish between their two very different titles in a post meant to garner the trust and feedback of the community... if the poster indeed meant what you believe he/she meant), the fact that the poster only has two lifetime posts on the board (one of which just being a repost of this thread), and the apparent lack of interest in engaging a dialogue on the forum itself (at least, the way I read it, the OP doesn't sound like he/she intends on returning to check this thread).
If it's legitimate, it's at least ill-formed and ill-considered, considering the complete lack of any questions or request for dialogue.
I think your right Grey, this stinks of a scam... She just joined the forums and only has 2 posts, they are exactly the same in different sections. She has yet to follow up on either of them... It is just awefully suspicious to me.

I'd say that's just about right. For all of you confused I've been playing Guild Wars (the first one!) for four years. I didn't think I'd have to make that distinction on a gaming forum of all places. Then again, this is the internet, so I suppose I should have expected it.

It's nothing personal, and you shouldn't take it as such. But in the future, you should make your distinctions more clear, since it's hard to take somebody seriously when they can't even correctly pinpoint what it is that they've been playing.
Wow, okay. So this turned on me pretty quick. I apologize for not responding ASAP, but as I said I am a student so class is kind of a priority.
And yes, I have just joined this forum because I'm looking for players and there's really no where else I can ask for people to help me out since asking in-game is against the User Agreement. I'll update my profile with more information if that makes you all feel more comfortable. Also, I did post the same thing in two places because as I said, I am looking for volunteers and after posting the first, I realized the general thread would get me more traffic.
I fully encourage anybody to contact me with questions and I'll respond as fast as I can to this thread, but I apologize if I don't get back to you right away.
Hopefully this clears some issues up for you guys, and if you continue the harassment I'll just take my posts to other forums.
Note: Being skeptical, and giving rational and objective reasoning for it, is not harassment. I apologize if you feel attacked, as that was not my intention, but I do not apologize for being skeptical.
If your skin is so thin, you will never achieve anything in life, there is a lot of scam going on around and a lot of skeptics, by making threats you will post somewhere else you are only proving the skeptics right.
