The Lost Shores content update revealed!

This looks absolutely awesome!! Im super excited about the new dungeon and how it gets more difficult the farther you go and better rewards,,ascended gear!!!!!

Question though: the one time world event, is that when it begins and ends? the 15th and 18th?

My guess (if it's like with the Mad King last month), the one time events will be:
- 16th: Near the harbor in LA a cut-scene (like the GRAND entrance of the Mad King) will be seen by all players in the vicinity
- 17th: It's dangerous to enter or cross LA (Asura Gates from town to town will probably be unaffected to keep new players (or those not wanting to participate) safe as the battle sweeps into town; the new map will be available (see the link in the posting above this)
- 18th: At 12 PST a great expedition will start on the new map where the final outcome will be revealed (maybe some sort of Players vs. Monsters in a WvW style?) with awards to participating players.

As I don't think that they want ALL players active at one time (this worked so well during Halloween when everyone tried to get to the showdown with the Mad King ) I guess that every 1-2 hours another part of this battle will be complete. Whoever is there can participate if the servers are too full, try later. (But that's just my guess based on common sense)

Guys, I can't read, or I'm stupid. Please help with this question. Can we go over to the new 80 zone in sea of Sorrow now, or do we have to wait until the event kicks off before it is open? SoooooSOSOSosOOosSOO tired and have to sleep right now.

When the event hit LA the whole game turned into a lagfest. lol I got to admit though, the new dungeon is pretty fun.

Near as I can tell, the new zone opens sometime tomorrow with Phase 2 of this event.
