    A Personal Story Suggestion

I've listened to a lot of people with complaints about the personal story, many of which are quite valid. So I was thinking about the way it works now, and how annoying it is. This is what I've come up with as a way to do personal stories.

Since the personal story arcs pretty much last 10 levels, I decided not to start them, until I can do the entire 10 level chunk at one time. This allows me to enjoy the story without it feeling fragmented. Like I don't start the personal story until I hit level 12. I don't start the next personal story until I hit level 22.

This way you don't feel like you're constantly in a state of limbo. There's only one downside I can find to this idea (and it's not a big one to me). Your personal story quest rewards won't really be usable, because you'll have outleveled most of them by the time you do them. However, that's a small price to pay for actually enjoying a continuous story.

I've also toyed with the idea of playing through a character without starting the story until I was level 80, but after a rethink, I thought that might be too much.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw the idea out there and see what people think.

Well regarding the rewards, I've never had a use for any of them as the gear I've been wearing has always been better, even if it's lower level. Maybe my own fault for decking my characters out in rares but still. I do sometimes do the story quests in groups of 3, I would probably do more but stop when it's 6-9 levels above mine. I'm too impatient to follow a plan like that.

I was talking to a couple fellow gamers the other day about this subject. Well one guy was talking how great he thought it was. Myself, I really don't pay attention to the story, Thought it was just me, the other guy agreed. He is not a fan of stories in games. We just wanna point shoot click, Kill and keep rocking.

Most cut scenes I skip, If I wanna do a story, I pick up a book, game time is for mindless killing, and having fun. Thats just me.

I like this idea, but I take it to an extreme. I level up to about 60 before starting my story, then I play the story all the way up to my level. Then I basically wait until 80 and finish the story. I like to do all story or no story. I've never benefited from the rewards but it never bothered me.
