Class and role: Roaming ele. Occasionally point-holder mesmer, but strongly prefer the former. Can be willing to try other roles and classes.

Previous PvP experience: WoW arenas (2k rating), WAR, GW1, SWTOR, Rift, Dota, LoL, HoN.

I am a person who flourishes in PvP. To me, pvp is a way of expression. It is my favorite playground, and it is what I excel at. I love every aspect of structured PvP in Guild wars 2. Builds of various classes, strategies for various maps, my own playstyle, strengths, limitations and all the same for my teammates. I like to see my teammates develope as much as I like to see myself grow.

I am competitive by nature. If there is no competition, my interest will quickly decline. For this reason, I've always played games where you are matched against other players. MMOs and MOBAs of various sorts.

I have never been a part of Esports, and most likely never will be. While I love gaming, I know it will never become the main thing in my life. Nevertheless, whenever I play, I give my every ounce. My main focus is growth. If I see myself grow, I am having a good time. For this reason, I always maintain constructive critical view of my playstyle. I greatly appreciate constructive critcism from my teammates, and I expect it! This, coupled with a positive mindset, is a great part of achieving what you want.

What I can offer a guild is a light-hearted humourous teammate who enjoys every part of structured PvP, who will provide constructive criticism, help, suggestions and encouragement of good play. Last but not least, I can offer you a player who understands the strengths and weaknesses of his own class aswell as others, and understands how to exploit these to be successfull.

I'm not necessairly looking for a guild with top-notch players, but I need to see commitment, and I need to see progress and growth. I strongly appreciate a positive attitude in people I surround myself with both in gaming and real life. I do not tolerate arrogance and excessive bragging. There is nothing wrong with the occasional humorous showoff, but I fucking can't stand people who have to shout out whenever they play well. Let your actions speak for themselves.

Furthermore, I expect all members of a team to be respectful towards each other. There's nothing wrong with a harsh tone in the midst of a heated battle, but I do not tolerate personal insults or excessive raging. Any order given by the team leader should be followed, and I expect that nobody will protest in the midst of a fight. Suggestions are welcome, but disobeying an order and being undependable is not acceptable. Issues and conflicts are strictly to be resolved after the matches. All attention should be on the match at hand while it is ongoing.

We are a very active social guild of players from all over the world who have been playing together for years. We aren't the type of people to give up easily and call it "quits" by throwing in the towel. We won't tolerate PvP tea parties or dungeon mega-NAPs; we play on our own terms, and we have fun doing it.This is not a guild where you'll log in and nothing's going on. We play Guild Wars together, We call psychic hotlines and escort services. Even if you're not doing anything in particular, you can always come on TeamSpeak. This is where we reside and hang out most of the day. In EXG we feel that words can only express so much and that no one has to type full sentences while dodging an angry Centaur. So we feel that Voice Chat goes a long way to get us to know one another better and to perform better ingame.

At the end of the day, and at this point in the MMORPG scene, would you rather sit in a guild with 500 people, not knowing or caring if you make a difference? Or would you rather be in a guild taking on the odds and making an impact?Up untill now, this is only the beginning. Being a Member of EXG grants endless possibilities. We give our members the oppertunity to grow inside the guild. This means they can get promotion in the ranks. This may vary from forum Admin to Ingame Officer. Due our large community and the high offer of content, alot of things needs to be done. We occasionally add careers inside our crew which helps you develop skills you can apply in real life aswell.

As we have mentioned before, we have alot of content circling around inguild. We have the typical Guild Events customized by our members and our members needs. A large forum with dozends of sections and topics where you can discuss, talk and spam the area. The forum has alot of features to play around with, to keep forum posting interesting. Not to mention our very own Guild Bar called TeamSpeak where our members reside. Also our website who gets a weekly update to stay ahead of any other guild providing the best content a player and member needs to know. Hello Hoger,

Thank you for your detailed introduction. I love such intro's, whenever I apply to a guild, I tend to write novels myself. But hey this isn't about me.

Our guild, the Touch of Darkness, are currently looking for more people to PvP and WvW with. We are also loving the tactical aspect this game has to offer, especially in the PvP area's. At the moment we're looking for one or two WvW Commanders, ofcourse within the guild. We're going to buy the commander book for the person that role suits the most, purely to make it a bit easier to locate our own guild mates within the WvW area. A commander book does not make for a good commander.

I will have to be honest, that yeah, we do love to PvP, but we haven't really gotten into it yet. This is probably because we're loving WvW just a bit more, and we're currently just playing that for the most part. But the PvP games we did play, we loved and we are also looking to get into that more. Maybe with some dedicated players like yourself, that would be a bit easier to accomplish.

One of the things I shouldn't forget to mention, is that we're social, mature, friendly, helpful and especially drama free. So far from all the recruits we had, only two people didn't fit the guild, one left on her own and the other left after we had a discussion with him about his actions. It's sad to see people go, but if it's better for the guild, then it's always for the best.
