3D problems
Howdy, all. I just got my hands on a Sony 3D monitor, and am having trouble trying to run GW2 in 3D. Any other program or video runs fine, but I can't tick the box for 'stereoscopic' in the in-game menu. I'm running an Asus computer with an Athlon XII processor, 8 gigs of RAM, and a Radeon 6770 graphics card. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I don't use 3D myself, so I can't really help you with all the ins and outs, but just to be sure... as far as I know Guild Wars 2 requires nVidia's 3D Vision software (version 2). Do you have that installed?

Version 2 is for multiple 3D monitors i believe. I use an nVidia card with an Acer 27" 3D monitor without any problems. To turn the 3D on i open the nVidia control panel to enable stereoscopic 3D, would imagine theres somet similar in your Radeon control panel. Are you playing in Full Screen mode? Is there a 'view compatibility with games' option under stereoscopic 3D in your control panel?

Some games have this problem and require the 3D card for the play these games actually the graphics and all other requirements are heavy of these games so this si not a big issue to purchase the 3D card and install external in to your computer...
