so i like wvw highly, its fun different and helps with lvling. i understand that wvw probides somes bonuses for pve by people playing it. but besides that whats the benefits of higher world ranking??? or is it just for show and to balance out just the people we fight
Nothing at all. Well aside from the typical 'I'm better than you are cause my server is number 1' mentality.
A warm fuzzy feeling, like an electic blanket or right after you pee yourself.
Perhaps the benefit is your server actually plays WvWvW?
I'm on the bottom server and we got zerged last night something fierce. Not much fun playing when your outmanned 10-1.
But the outmanned buff is so awesome. You get extra karma and xp...and magic find. Which is totally useful when you're constantly being killed by the zerg.Originally Posted by Sericenthe

I was being sarcastic. You do get a buff but when you're outmanned you're getting killed and not the one doing the killing. So many outmanned people go fight NPC's to get better drops and rewards; further decreasing the number of players actually fighting the enemy. The outmanned buff is a joke and a slap in your face.
