To all recruiters in Jade Quarry:

I'm looking for a guild, but not because I need help with content or anything. I actually make no demands only have one desire in a guild: that there are people logged in often that would talk in guild channel while I'm playing. And I mean text, not teamspeak or anything like that. I have teamspeak and use it sometimes, and am happy to help other people out in-game, but often when I play I'm just exploring the world and enjoy when there's ancillary reading material on my screen to react/respond to.

About myself: I'm 26 years old, a graduate student, and a librarian at the University of Connecticut law school. For the last 4 years, I have also been the head coach of a local high school boys' track and cross country teams (I'm proud to report that my cross country team just finished an undefeated season and won our league championship for the first time since 2005). I've run three marathons and am training for my fourth. I play GW2 as a method of clearing my mind of my absurdly busy schedule and to take breaks from work or school projects. In case it matters, I tend to vote Democrat, but I think I'm not obnoxious about it and I have many close friends who are on the other side of most issues. I also like to read and am a big fan of the late David Foster Wallace. I got my undergraduate degree in English and was a writing tutor, but I also used to be an 8th grade algebra teacher. So I'm kind of just a smarty-pants all around, I guess. I share an apartment with my girlfriend who is a lawyer and is smarter than I am, but she doesn't play video games. She often watches me sarcastically though.

Anyway, I'd love to meet some folks in game - my thief character's name is Molch.
